Lesley A.
This is Lesley. She is awesome.
Artistic ventures have been long standing for this gal. From the memories of her parents
oil painting to her B.A. in Fine Arts and Graphic Design from Purdue University,
Lesley has made a charmed life in the arts.
She worked as a Graphic Designer until the birth of her children, then
went on to manage an art gallery and frame shop
until they made the move from Michigan to Ohio.
Here, she was able to pursue her love of antiques. She has been a wonderful presence
in the antique industry locally for fifteen years.
Her introduction to Modern Vintage was an easy transition with her artistic
abilities and knowledge of vintage. She was able to alter some of her findings to
express her own personal style and voice, and have the brick and mortar environment
that she'd always dreamed of. Her portion of the shop is filled with
tastefully up-cycled furniture, unique vintage and antique items,
lamps, soldered pendants, and her one of a kind porcelain creations.
Lesley finds inspiration from the other gals at the shop and from browsing
the stores of NYC during her trips to see her son.
On any given day you can find her searching high and low for
pieces to add to her collection, which she admits at times seems
a bit overwhelming, but then she gingerly smiles at it and
digs in to create her next masterpiece!
Lesley is in the shop on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons,
stop in and say hello!
